Stop Dreaming, Start Finishing: Binding by Machine with Sarah Payne

Does the phrase "hand-sewing the binding" make your heart sink? You aren’t alone! Many quilters have a "closet of shame" filled with beautiful, finished quilt tops that just need that final edge. If you’ve been putting off the finish line because you dread hours of hand-stitching, this 2-hour masterclass is for you.

Join Sarah for a deep dive into The Professional Machine Finish. We’re moving away from tedious hand-work and embracing a sturdy, modern technique that looks just as polished and lasts even longer through the wash. With Sarah's help you’ll learn how to frame your hard work with confidence and speed.

What You’ll Learn:

In this focused, interactive Zoom session, we will break down the "scary" final steps into simple, repeatable skills:

 * The Perfect Prep: How to calculate, cut, and join your binding strips on the bias for a smooth, bulk-free finish.

 * Edge Control: Preparing your quilt sandwich so the binding sits square and true every time.

 * The "Sarah Payne" Mitre: Master the art of the perfect 45-degree corner—no more lumps or gaps!

 * The Invisible Join: Learn the ultimate trick for closing the binding loop so you’ll never find the seam again.

Why This Class Works:

 * Beginner Friendly: We skip the complex jargon and focus on the "how-to."

 * Durable Results: Machine binding is perfect for quilts that are meant to be used, loved, and laundered.

 * Instant Gratification: Go from a raw-edged quilt to a finished masterpiece in the time it takes to watch a movie.

> "A quilt isn't a quilt until it's bound. Let's get those projects out of the cupboard and onto the beds!"
