Need an excuse to ignore the washing, escape the inbox and spend a couple of hours with lovely crafty people?

Welcome to Slow Stitch Club at Sarah Payne's Creative Barn.

This is your monthly dose of stitching, chatting, creativity and very important fabric-enabled therapy.

Bring along whatever hand sewing project is currently living in your project bag, lurking in a cupboard or quietly judging you from a basket.

Slow stitching? Lovely.
Embroidery? Fabulous.
English Paper Piecing? My people!
Visible mending, sashiko, hand quilting, cross stitch, “I’m not entirely sure what I’m making but I’m having a lovely time”… all welcome.

There’s no formal teaching and no pressure to finish anything. This is relaxed, friendly stitching with encouragement, inspiration and possibly the occasional outbreak of enabling.

• UFOs (UnFinished Objects – we’ve all got them!)

New to hand stitching? Don’t panic. Come anyway. You’ll be warmly welcomed and gently encouraged.

Bring your own project or treat yourself to one of Sarah’s kits on the night.

Held on the 1st Tuesday of every month.

Tea, creativity, laughter and a perfectly acceptable amount of thread chaos included.
