Fancy learning to crochet whilst making something cheerful, colourful and just a tiny bit addictive?

Join us for Granny Squares & Glorious Colour – a relaxed, welcoming club where you will discover the wonderful world of crochet granny squares.

Perfect for beginners and improvers alike, this monthly session will guide you through the stitches, techniques and colour play needed to create beautiful crochet squares full of personality. Come once, or come every month - no pressure. 

Because once you can make a granny square… a whole world opens up.

• Blankets.
• Cushions.
• Bags.
• Cardigans.
• And quite possibly an unexpected yarn collection.

During the sessions you will learn:

• How to hold your hook and yarn with confidence
• The basic crochet stitches used in granny squares
• How to work in the round
• Colour changes and simple joining techniques
• Tips for choosing colours that sing together beautifully
• How to spot and fix common crochet wobbles

No previous experience needed – just a willingness to have a go.

I promise crochet makes more sense when someone is sitting beside you saying, "yes… it does look like a tiny knotty octopus at first — keep going."

All materials are provided, with plenty of colourful yarns to play with.

Expect yarn, chatter, creativity, tea and a very satisfying amount of stitchy progress.

You will leave with new skills, your own granny square creations and, quite possibly, a dangerous new habit involving yarn shops.
