"Free Motion Quilting for the Terrified" at the Creative Barn, Rutland Sunday 9th August

This is my most popular in person class, so I am bringing it to The Creative Barn, Rutland so you can get some hands on experience in a gorgeous rural location! All materials will be included!

What will I learn?

You will learn basic tips and tricks to get you on your free-motion quilting journey. You didn't learn to drive in a day, and you won't learn free motion in a day either. But I can take the fear out of it and set you on your way. You will learn how to prepare your machine, tools that can make it easier to control your quilt, as well as see how to prepare your quilt. Most importantly, you will learn and practice some great free-motion designs.

Where is it? 

The Creative Barn is in Seaton, in the heart of rural Rutland.

When is it?

Sunday 9th August - 10am - 2pm 

What do I need?

• A clean sewing machine with a new needle. Don't worry if you don’t have one, or don’t want to bring it, we have ones here to hire!
• Make sure you have a free motion foot on your sewing machine. Check your sewing machine manual to see how your particular machine does free motion quilting. And I am here to help if you don’t know what to do with it!
• You will work on a pre printed panel that you can later turn into a cushion or other project. 
• Patience!
