Dot to dot quilting - Walking Foot Quilting Without the Wobble - 6pm 7th January 2027 - 2 hr Zoom class

Do you love the look of beautifully quilted geometric designs but have no idea where to begin? Dot-to-dot quilting makes it much easier than it looks!

In this friendly two-hour Zoom workshop, I will show you how to use simple marked points as a guide for creating striking quilting designs with your walking foot. By joining the dots in different combinations, you can create stars, diamonds, curves and decorative patterns without needing free motion quilting skills.

We will cover how to divide your quilting space, mark your points accurately, plan a design and stitch clean lines with confidence. I will also show you how the same basic method can be adapted to fit squares, borders, triangles and other shapes within your quilt.

This class is suitable for beginners and improvers who are comfortable using their sewing machine. You will need a walking foot, basic sewing equipment, a removable fabric marker, ruler and several small quilt sandwiches for practising.

The workshop will be recorded, so you do not need to attend live. You can watch it later, pause whenever you need to and practise at your own pace.

Don't worry if you can't attend, or want to rewatch later, I will be recording the LIVE and giving you access for a further 12 months with 48 hours of the live event.
