2nd June at 7pm - Zoom Workshop
Accurate cutting is the foundation of every successful quilt. In this focused workshop, you’ll learn the essential techniques that transform uneven blocks and frustrating mismatches into precise, professional results.
We’ll cover tools, setup, measuring methods, and the small adjustments that make a huge difference — whether you are a beginner or want to refine your skills.
By the end of the session, you will cut with confidence and understand how accuracy at this stage improves piecing, pressing, and final quilt assembly. If you wish, you can test your new skills with a small quilt.
Students will:
* Understand why cutting accuracy matters more than sewing accuracy
* Learn how to set up their cutting space correctly
* Use rulers and rotary cutters with confidence
* Cut strips, squares and multiples accurately
* Identify and fix common cutting mistakes
* Develop repeatable habits that improve every quilt they make
You can cut along with us live, sit back and watch to practice later, or catchup with the class recording later when you are free. You will have access to the class recording for at least 6 months.
