You didn't learn to drive in a day, and you won't learn free motion in a day either. But I can take the fear out of it and set you on your way. You will learn how to prepare your machine, tools that can make it easier to control your quilt, as well as see how to prepare your quilt. Most importantly, you will learn and practice some great free-motion designs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWhere is it? \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe class is an online interactive workshop, so you will need access to the internet (through a smart phone or a computer). If you wish to be seen, you will need a webcam, but you can choose to not be in vision if you wish. The event will also be recorded, and then uploaded to a private area of YouTube within 48 hours, and you will be able to access it for 12 months. Don't worry if you can't attend, I will be recording the LIVE and giving you access for a further 12 months with 48 hours of the live event.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWhat do I need? \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eA clean sewing machine with a new needle.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eMake sure you have a free motion foot on your sewing machine. Check your sewing machine manual to see how your particular machine does free motion quilting. Dont worry if you get stuck, you can message me through my website before the class.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ea 14 - 18 inch quilt sandwich. This will be a top piece of fabric, a layer of wadding and a piece of backing fabric. It does not matter what fabrics you choose, because this is a practice piece, though plain colours are better than patterns.
