Hello my lovely quilting friends,
I wanted to drop you a quick note with a bit of news—and an apology.
I’m really sorry to say there’s been an unavoidable delay on a few items here at the House of Payne. At the beginning of March, Helen—my only team member—had to step away from the business quite suddenly to care for her terminally ill husband. For the past three months, she has been by his side, and I’ve been holding the fort here on my own. As you can imagine, it’s been a lot to juggle, and with a heavy heart, the book had to take a back seat.
Very sadly, Helen’s husband passed away a few weeks ago. She’s now taking a bit of time to gather herself and be with her family, but the good news is that she’s hoping to return in a while. Once she’s back, finishing and formatting the book will be right at the top of her list. We are hoping for an release August date, but I'll keep you informed as I get more information.
I know delays are frustrating, especially when you’ve been looking forward to something. I truly appreciate your kindness and patience—it means the world to me. But if you'd prefer not to wait, I completely understand and am more than happy to offer you a refund—just drop me a message and I’ll get it sorted.
Thank you again for your support. It really does make a difference.

The book is still available for preorder on my website at the lower prelaunch price.

Good news - the BOM for month 6 is on time, and went out on Monday. So if you subscribe to my block of the month, you can be on the lookout for Mr Postie! Details on the live demo will be in the group over the next few days.

Summer Hamper
Unfortunately, the summer hamper has also been affected. I’m just not as fast or efficient at processing and packing these things as Helen is (she’s a whizz!), so I’ve had to push despatch back by two weeks. Hampers will now be sent out from 7th July (2 weeks later than planned). There are a few extras available here - first come, first served!
Remember, you don't know what's in it until you get it!

Once again, thank you for your patience. I am still open for business and appreciate your support.
