Portfolio of Workshops and designs that I teach

All of my quilt workshops use sewing machines (unless specifically mentioned below). Quilting classes will also require the use of rotary cutter, a standard size quilting ruler and a mat. I often make use of EZ acrylic rulers by Simplicity – which is the brand that I demonstrate on Create & Craft. Other brands are of course available – and I will state in the requirements list if a specific ruler is needed. If you do not wish me to use these rulers then please let me know and I may be able to offer a variation where attendees draft their own templates. However I will need to know this at time of booking.
I always include full instructions and finishing guide (layering, quilting and binding) so that all attendees will be able to finish their quilt once they return home.
If any of these classes are of interest, please let me know!

Playing with Circles – Zen Quilt
Inspired by traditional Japanese zen garden designs, this class will de-mystify how to work with appliqued circles.
These gardens are places of calm and quiet contemplation, and this quilt reflects those sentiments. This wall hanging can be used to showcase some of the beautiful Chinese and Japanese themed fabrics available, and it works equally well with modern furnishing designs.
Tools required – standard rotary cutter, ruler & mat & sewing machine. EZ Circle ruler is also useful.
